This sets out far reaching changes which will shape the ace & direction of reforms and will have a fundamental ipact on the Chinese financial sector. At the same time, China’s financial services industry is facing the prospect of rapid change following a period of significant growth over the last decade.”

PwC’s William Yung hosted a session to share perspectives on the risks arising from interplay of various trends such as the development of the banking market as China moves to allow the market to play a greater role, the growth of the non-bank financial institutions (shadow banking) sector as well as challenges posed by disruptive technologies from non-traditional financial services players.

About 120 participants from the members attended the forum.
